The HDRN Canada IDEA Strategy was developed collaboratively with input from all HDRN Canada Member Organizations and Teams. The strategy has three core goals: to identify practical, high-impact actions that embed inclusion, diversity, equity and accessibility (IDEA) across all HDRN Canada strategic goals and initiatives; to clearly define roles and responsibilities across the network; and to advance shared commitments to IDEA and Indigenous reconciliation. We developed the HDRN Canada IDEA Strategy Action Plan to implement specific initiatives across four strategic areas. This Strategy and Action Plan represent the first of many steps toward a data research ecosystem that is inclusive, diverse, equitable and accessible.
