Before you apply
Application deadline: January 31, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. PT.
The application form will take approximately 30 – 45 minutes to complete. Please note that the online application must be completed in one sitting. Your progress cannot be saved and returned to later, so we recommend gathering the required information.
Before you begin, please have the following information ready:
- Contact information
- Information about your relevant skills and experience
- Contact information for two referees (email addresses and/or phone numbers)
- A current copy of your CV, which you will be asked to email after submitting the online application
- During the application, you will be asked to self-rate your level of competency across 15 areas using a scale of 0 (Limited), 1 (Moderate), or 2 (High). For each competency rated 1 or 2, you will also be asked to briefly describe your relevant experience and how it informs the perspective you would bring to the Board (maximum 150 words each).
- The competency areas include: Governance skills, privacy law experience, financial skills, health care experience, research experience, strategic planning, management/operational experience, communications/public relations, government relations, board experience, commercialization, grant and research funding experience, equity and access, Indigenous experience, and digital competency
